A frum business owner talked to Fox news after the city allowed her to be in her store to process orders for delivery but the state inspectors ticketed her and claimed that her store was both "open and functional". She talked about candy stores and bodegas that were open on the block and how the virus can spread just as easily there and that infected red zone residents were basically travelling all over the city to shop.
Hopefully the world will now realize that it's a retaliatory measure and does nothing to protect public health. Nobody is staying home and healthy people are going to be tested. The government doesn't mind that because they still find some positive results among asymptomatic people. Jewish businesses also depend on December holidays although I didn't realize this.
A frum toy store owner in Pomona does hope to get a lot of December business and he is luckily nowhere near the red zones.

Was that an "it's all a gift" store owner in Flatbush who said the city let her open but the state ticketed her?

I saw that he did manage to get one special ed school opened (don't know its name)
