First time-
I heard some places use cheaper quality and it makes it harder to get used to-

Please tell me who you used and if you are happy.

You don’t want the cheapest quality lense. You want the expensive quality since it’s made in a way that it’s easier for the eyes to get used to.
I would worry about cheap progressive lenses. I’ve never worn them before and I’m worried how my eyes will get used to wearing them. I’ll need to wear them every day all the time. I’ll just have to pay whatever it is to see properly.

I've been wearing progressives for years now. Never had a problem getting used to them. If there's a problem, it's not in the lenses themselves but how they are put into the frames. I've paid hundreds of $$ for them as my prescription is considered high. Then I was told about a store in brooklyn that is very affordable. I travel there once a year and get my kids and my glasses there for a fraction of what I would pay anywhere else. And never a problem. Eyeglasses99. On coney island Ave btw I & J-closer to J.

I got my progressives a few weeks ago. The people at Clearview were wonderful. They explained the different options for lenses and I opted for the more expensive ones for $300. They were very easy to get used to and I'm extremely happy with them.

I paid around $200 for the frame and $300!for the lenses in bp optical lab on 16th ave
Additionally they have a dr there so I paid $75 for a checkup and for him to write me the prescription. I have never had clearer vision. Now I’m having a hard time wearing my contacts! Help!

Mine are $125 with any frame in the store. And I'm constantly getting compliments on them!

Has anyone used imperial eyewear?
A friend told me that she went there for her kids.

If imperial is Yossi - he is wonederful - would wait for him vs other staff. he is excellent.
Also great in matching a frame to your face.

hands down.

Many others are good. we Love service and quality of Yossi.

Edit
OK, imperial is eyewear unlimited, it is Yossi, - see Yossi and get your new pair!

He is outstanding!!

Has anyone else use Optical Lab on 16 in BP? Were you happy with the prescription and the actual lenses?

I've always had a great experience with yossi at imperial eyewear/, eyewear unlimited. I recently got my first pair of progressives and bh they weren't so hard to get used to. He took measurements and all to make sure everything would line upnrightm. I was warned though that progressive lenses are more expensive than regular lenses.
