Many Pixar movies like Inside Out, Monsters Inc, Toy Story, Ratatouille are suitable...

My personal favourites as a kid were Mary Poppins (the new sequel is also cute), Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang, A Little Princess (these are all British, if that makes a difference)

Girl, the thing is that I want to make it a fun night with Mom and Dad, so looking for an idea that will be interesting for us too, otherwise we will be with our phones, and there goes all the fun.....

Thanks for all the ideas.
Aren't home alone a little too much for this age?

My girl is almost 6 and I wouldn’t show her home alone yet. She’d enjoy the shenanigans but she’d be upset by the thieves. Gotta know your kid

If your daughter is used to watching movies, eventually she will become immune. If she is not accustomed, it will be too frightening. My daughter was even scared of Charlie and the chocolate factory.
I second watching inside out. Even I enjoyed it. Up is also really great. The old Dennis the menace show is really funny and great for all ages.

I find most Pixar movies enjoyable even as an adult; they usually have more mature intellectual and emotional themes than most other children's movies

I don't think Home Alone is appropriate for young kids.
