Duncan Hines brownies. Chewy brownies/bars use fewer eggs than fluffy cakes.

I have a delicious egg-free chocolate cake recipe

Lickity Split Chocolate “Dump” Cake

FYI it makes one 8x8 pan, which is good for small families or if you don’t wanna be noshing on leftovers all week. You can also skip the mix ins and make two cakes to use as layers of a frosted cake.

1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 package instant pudding (vanilla or chocolate)
1 cup water
6 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Mix ins:
Brown sugar
Cinnamon
Chocolate chips
Crumbled cookies (Oreos, graham crackers)
Shredded coconut
Chopped nuts, etc.

Combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, pudding mix and salt in large mixing bowl.
Make a well Add water, oil, vinegar and vanilla; stir with spoon or wire whisk just until batter is smooth and ingredients are well blended. Batter is pretty thick!

Pour 1/2 of batter into a sprayed 9-inch round pan or 8-inch square pan.
Sprinkle with a layer of whatever mix ins you want.
Pour remaining batter on top, then sprinkle top with more mix-ins.

Bake at 350º for 35 to 40 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean.

Thank you so much this sounds amazing!! Can I make this without the pudding mix (I don’t have any)? Can I put anything else in as a substitute?

You can skip the pudding mix, it just won’t be as fudgy. More like a regular chocolate cake, which is delicious also!

Between carpools has a chocolate chip stick recipe that uses only one egg. Super easy amd you mix it all in the 9x13 so no clean up! I make it almost every week.
