I'm a special ed teacher and travel around to schools and homes to work with 3-4yr olds. Its the first time I'm working with this age group and would love recommendations of some good toys/ games to buy? The easier it is to travel with the better.

Also looking for ideas for any type of learning activities.

I work with this age group as an SLP. My district encourages us to use a Routines Based Model so we use whatever materials the family or school has. That’s always a good place to start. If you have access to an iPad, Epic! Books has a great selection of books and you can sign up for a free educator’s account. Otherwise my kids now love Paw Patrol, Legos, stuffed animals, and play dough.

I'm also an SLP. Definitely what's in the house as your primary.
For the take alongs:
I've gotten a lot of use out of
-the Melissa and Doug house with the four doorbells and locks. Can put anything in each side also, good for categorizing, social, following directions.
-TOOBs -so many different kinds
-playdoh ice cream maker and pizza maker, spaghetti maker
-calico critters dollhouse-I got it used and got a few sets of furniture and dolls-some that go with it and some that just fit in-this is my favorite brand of house tho
Doctor set
Play food and dishes and any accessories
Toy barn and accessories
Various duplo sets-plane, cars etc
Zingo
Puzzles-depending on level-pegs or 12 piece
Crayons and coloring book-depending on level

My 4 yr old loves "spot it" game, you have to spot 2 identical items in both cards, among many items. There are also Jewish versions.
