Any tips on acid reflux
My baby is 3 monthes old and breastfed
If she isn’t held all day while I’m standing she doesn’t stop crying
I can’t get any work done
If you have any tips would be really helpful

Oy, Im so sorry for you! It really isnt easy. My baby was like that, I found that if I made sure that she burped after she ate, then she was happier, so I would spend my day burping her☺ but BH she outgrew it and is now a darling!!

I'll start by saying that I've had 4 reflux babies...
Shorter, more frequent feedings may help alot. A lactation consultant said to nurse from one side at a time. helped me for a while. I also found that the babies were happiest in an inclined bouncer. (not a car seat, which makes baby bend at the waist, putting more pressure on the stomache.)

My babies slept in the fisher price bouncer for quite a while.

I also found good, strong, probiotics to be a big help. I took it and it made a diff.
Another thing that has helped was going off milk and all dairy products.
I was successful with reflux medicine by some of the babies, but I found prevacid worked way better then zantac.

Get off dairy and gluten. Take a good quality digestive enzyme half hour before meals. Lots of ferments and probiotics for you. High dose magnesium for you, magnesium oil on baby’s feet. Methylated b vitamins for optimal liver function, liver is where gut health begins.

My doctor recommended mylanta for my newborn. Not the best taste, but it was helpful in calming the reflux.

Had the same issue.
Doctor prescribed mylanta, but after research I found out that its not healthy for new born except if its the specific one for babies and that one is hard to find.
Going off dairy DEFINITELY helped with an alternative prescribed anti acid medication.
Just a pointer if you try going off dairy it has to be a MINIMUM of two weeks before you will see results.

Stay off of dairy and anything with soy. Some babies are sensitive to the proteins (MSP).

my baby had terrible reflux. mylicon helped a bit, but she was still impossible. my dr prescribed prevacid (after I begged and pleaded endlessly). MIRACLE! She was perfect after that.

With my first I was off dairy and still had a miserable baby. With my next two we used Zantac and then Prevacid and had happy babies. IMO if a baby has reflux then treat it. Zantac is very safe.
