I've read about the possibility of a "covid passport" where you'd have to show proof of vaccination before being allowed into certain places. I would imagine airports, colleges, stadiums or big concert events, and maybe schools. I can't see restaurants and stores doing this, it would be very cumbersome.

So if this becomes mandatory then there may not be a way to fight it even if we do stick together.

If the people all vote to overturn it, can they not? Isn't that the definition of democracy?

Yes, they can.
Children are NOW mandated to take dozens of vaccines and we don't know the long-term effects.

So you are pro-choice which is the name "anti-vaxxers" prefer.
Fake News named us "anti-vax".

I don't have a problem with it, actually. And I'm ok with schools requiring it.

When the socialists decide that bris milah is child abuse, that yeshivas indoctrinate hate (anti-lgbqt) and male cheuvinism, that shechitah is animal cruelty....
will you have a problem with it THEN???

Why are you OK with mandating (forcing) children to be vaccinated for Covid?
The odds of a child dying from Covid is 1:750,000.
The odds of getting struck by lightning is less than 1:16,000.
The Covid vaccine has a list of known risks and adverse events - and we don't know the long-term
risks.
Please explain how this makes any sense???

I'm really not worried about any of that happening, tbh.
Bris milah--no way, not with lawmakers worried about being anti Muslim.
I am not going to argue abt your stance on vaccines. You will never convince me, I don't care how many random statistics you put up.

The lawmakers will persecute Jews and ignore what Muslims do.
Don't you notice that Homosexual Activists never target Muslim Bakeries, Caterers, Photographers,
Bands, Florists, Party Planners and demand that they service their Homosexual "weddings"?

I apologize.
I am just very worried about what is happening because people are just following orders.

Let me introduce to you how laws in this country work: Our legislators (state Assembly and state Senate) get to vote on any bill. We can call them and let them know our opinions, but at the end of the day, those we elected to Albany call the shots (pun intended lol). Sometimes they vote according to party lines, sometimes they represent their constituents - whether the majority of them or the loudest of them, sometimes they vote according to their personal morals/beliefs and sometimes they are forced by party leaders to change their vote in order to get the bill passed.
The coercion, manipulation of votes, whether threats or bribes, were all used in order to pass the repeal of the religious exemption on June 13, 2019. It enraged all the anti-vaxxers who have in this past election voted to unseat over 10 of the legislators who voted to pass the bill. But the law remains. We the people have no recourse to fight a law other than through the courts (which obviously takes years). Good luck!

The non vaccinated kids here in sunny tropical Monsey all go to school. I see neighbors in this category and they are in school. Public school is probably not going to accept kids who are not vaccinated.
At the moment, there is concern about getting the vaccine distributed to people that would hopefully benefit so I imagine that it will take awhile before it is even offered to children below high school age.

It looks like Democrats will have a supermajority in NY so even if the governor vetos something they will still override it. And deblasio just signed a socialist new green deal into law so all this combined means that NY is officially lost. Where are we all moving to next?
