My DH just hinted to me that he wants a weighted blanket to help him sleep better. Just throwing the idea out there.

A beautiful picnic basket with a few bottles of good wine inside? (Something like this)

I'm not sure that a picnic in this weather would work out, but a good idea for a different special occasion. Thanks!

I know a lot about scotch courtesy of my dad . I could help pick a bottle based on other bottles he has

He likes cauvernet sauvignon (dry red wines...) , johnny walker 21, lephrogue (don't think I'm spelling this one right lol...) If you have any recommendations, let me know!

Laphroaig is a very peaty scotch so if he likes peat then I would say get similar peaty scotch. Laphroaig, is an Islay malt. So either go to the whiskey store and ask them for another Islay malt.
Or my dad suggested, Lagavulin or Ardbeg.

The differences in the scotches which makes it such a great experience. And I believe for your budget you can even get two or three bottles It's not worth it to necessarily get a $200 bottle of Scotch. You can get four decent bottles for that price.

Cool to know! Thank you so much! It's always a guessing game when I go and I feel so out of place in a wine store since I have no clue what I'm talking about.

The best thing to do in a wine store is find a worker and say these are bottles my husband currently has What do you suggest based on that.

Again my dad is an avid scotch drinker and he also likes dry red wine He says the beauty is in noting the differences.

Oh we actually just got a great red bottle:

The winery is borgo bella. It was a chianti.

There's another winery similar borgo reale .... Also good dry reds
