But you actually NEED to have cataract surgery to get it done that way. I would never have chosen to get lasik, I just happened to need it, and its extremely unusual to need it at the age I did. |
Yes. That was my point. If you need cataract surgery the cost for the cataract portion is fully covered and you can elect to have LASIK at the same time for a fairly minimal amount since it’s pure profit for the eye doctor once you are in the chair with your eyes being operated on.
It’s a good business especially for doctors with a lot of seniors. My parents’ doctor sent them all home with a chicken dinner.
