My kids love when I put them between my legs. My 5 year old calls it the stuck game cuz I tell her she is stuck and she won't be able to get away ever bec I love her too much. And then when she gets away she feels very empowered. Helps kids who feel that things are out of control a lot of the time.

Besides, I think to your point we have made parenting a big chore that needs to be done a certain specific way and otherwise our kids sill be in for years of therapy. I don't think that's true. I think there is a large range of what kids can be ok with. The most important thing is our relationship. Play can be a big part of that, if we want.

BTW, does it count if I let my kids jump on me when I'm trying to nap?!?!?
