We also used to go to Dr. Spergel. We switched to Dr. Tina Zecca and like her a lot. There's also Dr. Ross that I know ppl are really happy with. Good luck!

I took my daughter to dr Pasternak once.
The office is kind of disorganized but he did what I needed him for.

We went to brick. My kid has pretty straightforward allergies. I wouldn’t recommend for anything complex.

There was nothing wrong but I didn’t come away feeling like my concerns were really addressed. I didn’t go elsewhere though because my child wound up outgrowing most of her issues.

bumping. Looking for allergist near Lakewood that accepts United Health Care. Never been to allergist before. Kid started developing hives that look like allergic reactions but we can't figure out to what... Any current recommendations?

For a top dr you need to travel to hospital with research dept. good drs stay there.
If don’t need top can use local
(This applies to almost anything medical. Lakewood vacinity doesn’t attract top medical talent bec lack of good hospitals).

I currently use one of the top allergists in the country. Unfortunately, we will be moving to NY soon, and I won’t be able to use him anymore unless I fly (strongly considering lol). He is looking into NY allergists for me, and I trust his recommendations 100%. I’ll update you when he gets back to me!

Would you be willing to share the name of this allergist? My child has an extremely complicated case of allergies compounded by other medical, allergic, and possibly genetic issues. At this point I'm seriously considering flying cross country to a specialized center but maybe if I find something closer....
