Hello,

I'm planning a trip to Israel in August.
I need to find a place to stay for Shabbat.
I tried to do research, but can't find anything.
Can anybody point me in the right direction?
Thanks,
Leah

I am not sure quite what you are looking for.
Google "hotels jerusalem" and you will find lots of hotels.

If you go to daka90.co.il - you may find a bargain .

If you want walking distance to the Kotel - try the Kings(Glatt) or The jerusalem Pearl, or King Solomon, or King david or Citadel if you can afford the last two.

Plenty of hotels around downtown.

Or were you looking for home hospitality ?

How many people ( I dont live in Jerusalem)

There are also appartment rentals and B and B's

Use google

Sorry, I didn't make myself clear...
I wouldn't be able to cook for Shabbat in a hotel, so I'm looking for either a rent with a kosher kitchen or a family who would take me and my husband for some fee.

Try posting on www.janglo.net, the Jerusalem Anglo group site. You may have luck there but it's VERY early to start asking for August... now people are just starting to think about Purim in 6 weeks.

Well there is Lev Yerushalayim - a sortof apartmenthotel onKing George

Andwhy cook ? do you have a special diet? why not get half / full boardfor Shabbat ? This IS Ir Hakodesh we are talking about.

If you want really Charedi - go to the Central Hotel.
But the Kings is pretty frum as othe most of teh others I mentioned above.

You could also go wherever for boarding and get food at Chafetx Chaim (meat, kugels, cole slaw) on Agripas, right off of King George.

Except for Lev Yerushalayim, I can't think of too many places where you can rent just for Shabbat. You can try Janglo, like Hila suggested, or also Flathunting. Both are Yahoo groups and require you to be approved for membership (it's not difficult to be approved).
