I'm so confused and don't know what to choose.
I have lots of carpet in my house. What type of carpet shampooer is best?
1)Rug Doctor, this is the one you rent in walmart
Or
2)A robotic carpet shampooer?
If you have lots of carpet and had great success with a robot style shampooer, please post which machine you own.
Which one cleans better, is more convenient, will keep the carpet in good condition etc.

Bumping this thread. My house is mostly carpet and hardwood. Which robots do you recommend for vacuuming and mopping. I have an old roomba vacuum which works ok but not great.
