When giving sh.monos, keep in mind those 'needy' or lonely people to whom receiving could mean more than you realize. You never know- your sh.monos could be the ONLY sh.monos they receive!!!!

for ex: widow, divorcee, someone who had a hard year....

Brava, queen, for reminding us of this! Most of us get so caught up in the "social exchange" aspect of sm that we completely forget those people on the "fringes".

I used to send part of the seudah to a neighbor.....I thought it was more helpful than nosh!
