I am looking to possibly send my daughter (going into 7th grade) to school in Brooklyn or queens. Looking for the following:
- warm and loving
- not too big, not too small
- academic but not super academic
- for a girl from a JPF family- we watch tv/movies, my girls wear short sleeves until bat mitzvah....

Bnos Malka in Queens is known to be super warm. Its a good size and has a big mix of girls.
