Hi my almost one year old wakes up between 4.30 and 5.30 am and I am exhausted. Any magic I can try?
I've tried putting her to sleep earlier and later didn't help. She will not go back to sleep, she stands up in her crib and just screams
Thank you

I always knew a yawn is contagious, but when did technology pick up on it too? LOL

Maybe give her something different for dinner? Make sure it's filling enough.

So why are we up??
I finished cooking for Shabbos and instead of going to sleep, came on here to wind down...

Amazing. But I do have to wake up to get kids ready for school. Yawn 🥱

Hope it was something good!! And now I'll stop derailing this thread!
Sorry OP!! I feel you. Midnight wakings make me feel like a zombie.

Maybe try doing your bedtime routine with her? Hugs, kisses, snuggles, shema, “good night!” And put her back down until a normal hour.

Its the worst!
I found the o ly thing that helped me was to adjust my schedule. I go to sleep with baby. (Or maximum 2 hrs after baby).

Is your baby still waking in the night?

You yourself need to go to sleep earlier. No two ways about it. I know it's not what you want to hear. I was never able to change the situation. I was forced to adapt.

Thank you for your responses. I bh also have older kids so it's really hard to go to sleep early.

Wake her up briefly at about three. If you desturb her sleep she may go back to sleep and sleep for longer. It will take a few days of doing this and she may adjust to sleeping longer... (Or she may not: (.
My baby used to wake up consistently at 4... It was a nightmare.

What’s her schedule? If she’s not sleeping at least a 10 hour night then she is probably under tired from too much day sleep.

Have you tried giving a bottle or nursing when she wakes up then? Often they will go back to sleep.
