I’ve made a chickpea stew, overnight lentil soup, overnight mushroom barley soup...
This week I’m trying a recipe for chili that is supposedly good for the crockpot.
You can also take a roast, stick in the crockpot with olive oil and spices, turn occasionally before Shabbos and then serve like pulled beef the next day. It’s also great with potatoes in the bottom.

Pasta salad with grilled chicken and veggies, if you want a one-dish meal.

Lots of soups work well in a crockpot.

Corned beef with cabbage salad and roast potatoes.

We have cholent Every.Single.Week. For my husband, it just isn't shabbos without cholent.

Just wanted to thank you all again for your ideas. I tried one out last shabbos and my family loved it! I've also approached my cooking this week without the usual dread. So thank you thank you!
Wishing you all a lechtigen Chanukah!

I make chili in the crockpot when I'm sick of Shabbos "regulars". You can serve with side salads, and either wraps, tacos or if you're in a fun mood- pareve tortilla chips

One of my dd’s makes chili in the crockpot. She serves it with rice and corn bread. And also tortillas if anyone wants to make tacos. It’s such a fun meal. Lots of fresh salads also. you can add pareve sour cream as a topping too. Very yummy.
