"keto" in the sense of "ketogenic" -I.e. you want to produce ketones - is not such a good idea...
What makes sense, in my view, is "low carb" oder rather "low density carb", I.e. focus on fruit and veggies as carbs, reduce "high density carbs" and specially Carbs that are high on the Glucose Index (Gi).
Carbs high on the Glucose index are those low in fiber: refined sugar, white flour, white bread, white pasta...
It is preferable to chose low GI, high in fiber: veggies, pulses, whole grain, fruit, boiled potatoes (preferably with peel).
Low density carbs are veggies and fruit (not dried).
so most "low carb" tell you to focus on low density carbs: raw or cooked veggies, plus protein, plus fat.
I did that and tried to make a soup or salad as a starter for every meal, and the main course was a protein with cooked veggies, (stir fry or veggie omelette or fish & veggies from oven etc.)
It was efficient in weight loss. You have to invest a bit more in meal preparation, but you can become quite efficient at it.
Japanese cuisine is a good example... also indian cuisine might have things to teach us...

Is it hamotzie? |
I don’t believe so. Oat fiber is made from grinding the oat hull, not oat grain.
The bread also contains gluten flour, which is shehakol and flax meal. I also saw low carb roll ups with similar ingredients and it said shehakol on the package.
