I moved to Brooklyn from Lakewood and need to switch my insurance over. Does anyone have any information on the essentials plan? I was told I might not qualify for Medicaid. I can’t find anything online. Is it like Medicaid but you pay a small premium? Or is like marketplace?

Its like Medicaid but with a small premium, I think like $20 or so. Its basically the same network of doctors as Medicaid, and it includes vision and dental coverage (marketplace plans do not, you have to pay extra for that)

I'm pretty sure its Medicaid with low premiums and very low copays sometimes
