What wicks do you use for your oil menorah?

Ours always go out and need to be fiddled with and relit over and over.
Every year we go crazy and by the time we get the hang of it chanukah is over and we can never remember for the next year. Banging head

We use the cotton ones, roll in hands-palms, and cut to size.
When pouring oil into the glass, pour onto wicks too. Burns beautifully and till oil is down down.

Do you use a wick holder? If so which one?
If not does the wick lean against the glass?

We buy the prefilled ones. No issues ever.

We use floating wicks, but the key is to double-stack the round holders, meaning instead of sticking 1 wick through one circular holder, use 2 holders. I think I saw the tip here many years ago, and DH has been doing it ever since without any issues.

We make our own from cotton balls. Pull a small amount off and roll into a wick.

Every time we've tried the store bought they've failed. Either being impossible to light, or impossible to keep lit.

Yes, wick holder from ner mitzvah. My husband takes care of it so don't know what others there's out there.

ETA-It's a full length wick holder.
Btw, floating wicks can be very dangerous. My sister had a fire one Friday night, when a lit floating wick jumped out of the glass an caught onto the tablecloth.

We like the wax coated red ones that go in the holder the whole height of the cup.
