If so, and you wear one large earring and one stud, does the Larger earring go in front or back?

I have 2 in each ear but only use 1 pair of earrings. Would love for the other to close. Any suggestions? I've been waiting years for it to close up.

I have way more that two holes in each ear and usually don't wear studs, but if I did then I would wear the larger earring in the front. For my wedding I did that, larger earrings in the front and small diamond studs in the second holes. It looked very nice. I would not wear a small earring in front with a larger one in back, that just sounds odd to me.

The only time I could see wearing a bigger one in back is if you have gauges.
But the bigger one in front + smaller stud in back is really pretty and classy.
(It's actually also really pretty to have three holes, with a big one in front, then medium then small studs.)
