My cleaning lady lost a close relative and I would like to send something to show my condolences. I was thinking to send a bouquet of flowers. Does anyone know if that is appropriate and if there are any flower types or colors I should NOT send. Also where in NYC I can order and have them delivered.

I've sent flowers once to my grandmother's aide's funeral. We were told not to go to the church but we can send flowers so that's what we did.
Ordered from a store in Flatbush but I don't remember which one. We just told them funeral flowers and our budget.

Some ppl I know do elaborate flowers and setup funds to contribute. I know when I have it was very appreciated. You can ask.

My Spanish cleaning help once told me that when someone is sick nobody helps but when they die they throw money to the deceased to cover costs lol
