Would it work? I'm making potatoe kugel tomorrow and want to make one of them into supper. Have you tried putting pastrami slices on the bottom?

I tried it and we didn't like it. The pastrami gives a very strong taste to the kugel.

I tried pastrami slices cut into pieces and put as a middle layer in the kugel. We liked it.

We do it when it’s overnight kugal sometimes. So good!

My friend pours some kugel batter in a jelly roll pan and bakes it until it’s firm. She puts some pastrami slices on top and rolls it up jelly roll slice. She then bakes it again for a bit.
