We have some student loans that are consolidated for a 30 year term, and we pay a monthly fee to a private lender that holds the loan.

Interest rates are much lower now than when we consolidated. Is it possible to refinance the loans? Would we need to get a different student loan company to work with?

If you have any experience with this, please advise.
