I'm having a major crisis with my 5 1/2 year old son. He is constantly wetting his pants during the day, (forget about the night thats a lost case for now) I have tried: punishments, bribes, a vibrating watch to remind him to go, a chart which he takes to school, talking to his rebbe.....He wears pullups now b/c I dont want him to be embarresed. My pediatrician says he has daurna enuresis (I'm prob. spelling it wrong) I have an appointment at a specialist but I'm wondering if anyone out there has such a situation that can give me some tips or advice. Thank You!

There are probably so many possible causes, from medical to psychological. We would need more information to help. Has he ever been toilet trained? Did this start happening after some event? Do you suspect a bladder infection or some other tangible cause?
