600 per person per round. This is the second round. We were told that we're going to get for the baby for both rounds on our next tax return.

Not in our state at the moment. They would give 17$ a month. And the stimuli hasn’t come for us yet :/

I really wanted to use it for a sheitel but we have a big bill coming up (property taxes) and our savings were decimated by this pandemic so we're using it to pay bills. I had really been hoping they would raise the amount to 2,000 or even 1,200 per person but no such luck it seems.
Eventually my husband will have work again Mad
Whomever said a 6 month or even 12 month emergency fund was enough never lived through a pandemic Crying

No one giving financial advice nowadays lived through a pandemic.

You're right. So because our baby was born before January we get an extra 1100 ( I said 1200)

More than 25 million Americans are unemployed or their hours were cut - one of them is your neighbour, sister, friend... DO SOMETHING!

I have a great idea... open up the economy and let people work. I’m brilliant, I know.

And those that have multiple restrictions and coronavirus related expenses.
Skyzone is at 25% capacity, plus frequent scrub down. That's fewer clients a day, plus lots of money on Cleaning supplies, purell, etc.
Doctors offices are seeing much fewer patients per hour because waiting in the car, no waiting room. They are still paying their staff, lots of new expenses, and they're not charging extra for standard care.

I used it already... most of it went towards credit card debt, and the rest is staying in the account for regular expenses, like tuition, car, food...
The first round also went directly to credit card debt.
