I don't drink coffee but from what I remember my father told me once that plain back with black coffee is fine from anywhere

And and I drink the ice chai which is just a chai syrup and milk and sometimes I have some sugar-free vanilla and those ingredients are kosher and that's totally fine

The problem is that starbucks uses a metal carafe as opposed to a glass one. Metal is mekabel tuma.

I clicked on 4 of these at random. They all said “only permissible if the store does not sell meat or cheese”.
I haven’t seen a Starbucks in the past 2-3 years that doesn’t have either. Even the smaller kiosks now have hot sandwiches.

You can only get coffee at kiosks that strictly serve only coffee.
The stores that sell food are a problem. They wash the pots with the same items that are used to prepare trief. It is a problem.

There's a Starbucks on route 9 in Howell I think that has some kosher chalav yisroel pastries

Also it's not a big an issue with the cold drinks. I drink ice chai

I’m not familiar with ice chai. Iced coffee is problematic.
I think the stores that sell kosher pastries are terrible, people are misled to think it’s a “kosher” Starbucks and there are no kashrus issues.

Yes I am aware Ice chai is fine Ice chai is just liquid chai which is kosher and liquid milk which is kosher and I sometimes add a liquid kosher flavoring so there's legit no problem there I understand that other things are problematic but it also depends who you ask I think

These types are usually found within other stores. Many Targets have them and in my city a few other grocery chains do too
