I found this guy who is involved in conserving rare and endangered lizards, turtles, and tortoises. His YouTube channel is great. I've been binge watching for the past two days. It's more addictive than potato chips!
Very child friendly, but with good information for adults too. Super clean, no bad language, lots of fun. https://www.youtube.com/c/KampKenan/videos
If your kids have been bugging you to get a reptile or amphibian, have them watch the videos on how to build a habitat, and exactly what kind of care each species needs. If you're lucky, they may decide that it's too much work!

FranticFrummie, have you seen the YouTube channel Brave Wilderness with Coyote Petersen? It sounds right up your alley!

It’s child friendly without being “babyish”, gives lots of fascinating information and Coyote and the crew have fun interactions with one another.
