Breathing better outside or with open windows

Has anyone else had this? I feel much better, breathing wise, when I'm outside (on my porch) or at least with open windows and moving air. I feel like I'm getting more oxygen that way. Has anyone had this with Covid or can I be fooling myself?

I did. When I was sick with covid in March. It was freezing out and snowing but the only way I felt better was keeping my bedroom window open with the cold air blowing on my face. Check you oxygen level with a pulse ox.

Thank you. That's just how I feel. I'm hoping to get one this afternoon.
(The issue is, my DH doesn't feel well, and he wants windows closed and heat on high!)

Heating tends to lead to very dry air. A humidifier might help.

If you have issues with breathing here is 2 things that I personally know helped many: It helped elderly too.

1) stand in the bathroom (not in the shower) with the shower water running on the hottest. When you feel like it's too much, exit the bathroom for a few seconds and keep going back. Do this for half an hour. After you do this, go into bed and cover really well with a warm comforter. This will cause excessive sweat and helps almost like magic with the healing process.

2) boil hot water together with baking soda in a large pot. Once it boils shut off the flame and put a towel around it, in such a way that you create a tunnel and the vapor goes only to your face. Keep your face there as much as possible. This helped many immediately. Repeat this a few times a day ideally before the breathing gets worse again.
