No it looks terrible. I have little kids who are home sick. But in general I have trouble keeping surfaces clear, nothing disgusting but things like piles of clean folded laundry. And my kitchen counters get crowded because I have a tiny pantry and I need a place to put food. Any tips please?

Buy a few cheap baskets at target for clean laundry so it's not on surfaces. $3 each

Buy a standalone cabinet to use as a second pantry. (I got one for around $50 and it was my only pantry)

That’s a good idea for laundry. My kids prefer having piles than having it hung up it’s easier for them but looks messy. I do actually have a very small pantry but I can’t fit everything.

Right, I understood that about your pantry. You can fit an extra cabinet somewhere even if it's not the perfect location, so you have more space. It can even be in a bedroom if you store things that can't attract bugs- cans, jars, paper goods.

You can use stackable bins like this. (You can even use them for some food items, like potatoes and onions)

Use hooks on the wall to hang brooms, mops and dust pans!
Hooks in coat closet (on back wall or door)to hang small kids jackets or backpacks,if they're not too heavy!

Any other ideas? I have so much trouble keeping surfaces clear. I’m so bad with clutter.
