By hs they really move on to many more meforshim. Rashi is the first level. |
I ordered the rashi translation. I’m not sure why Dd didn’t get it until now. It was really frustrating.

Now they also have other articles by big rabbis that I need to help her translate. They need to study it for the test. It is easy for me because it’s in Hebrew. I’m just wondering how are they supposed to translate the articles( מאמרים as they call it.). She doesn’t know most of the words.

If you have no problem with Hebrew, there is an amazing chumash called Rashi Kipshuto - רש"י כפשוטו
that explains the Rashi in modern Hebrew. Very similar to the Kehati Mishnayot.
First of all it's not Rashi script, second of all it writes it in the words of Rashi, but fills in the missing words to make it all into a flowing sentence.
It's amazing. I use it to help my younger kids with their homework, and my older kids use it by themselves.
Are you in Israel? Does your DD read Hebrew?
ETA - Oh I think I understand you are not in Israel. So your DD doesn't understand Hebrew. So you're better off with a translation then.
Anyway, this is a good recommendation for all Israeli chumash students.
