What's the social etiquette?

Who would you send a zoom invite to? How far does it extend? 🤔

First cousins included? Obviously Grandparents, immediate family and close friends but are you obligated to invite everyone- it feels nicer to invite people in person- a zoom is everyone watching your intimate occasion Obviously you want ppl to join in the simcha.

Wondering if a zoom invite will continue after covid is long over.

Also how do gifts work during covid?

The joy of Zoom is that you can invite everyone you want.
I give the same gift I would have given in normal times. I prefer an online registry.

We did a Livestream wedding invite to our entire guest list which was for badeken and chuppah only.
Included an online registry as well. Then we emailed a "real" invitation to family (including cousins) and kallah and chosson's friends. But included Livestream link option in case they could not come.
BH people were responsive and mailed checks as well as got things from the registry.

Livestream costs money but is more professional, won't cut out audio or freeze, and people can watch it later on also. Very worth it to find a video guy who can do it.

Can you be selective who you send the zoom invite to? Or would that be considered rude?

It's really everyone watching a more intimate event- some people rather not be in the limelight
