Meal Mart Kishke, how many layers of the wrap that the Kishke comes in, stay on, when you put it in the Chulent?

This past Shabbos, I took off all layers and it disintegrated into Chulent even though I placed the Kishke on top of everything else, above water. It totally disappeared.

Is the wrap plastic? I feel funny leaving plastic in the chulent. And first layer has words on it, thats ink. I forgot if second layer has words too.

Only remove outer layer. Second plastic wrap leave on otherwise it’ll dissolve into your cholent
