I am looking to get a tablet for my kids to watch MP4 files , and possibly get the Torah treasures streaming service . I want to be able to turn off EVERYthING else. Definitely no browser but also no games or anything.
It seems dvds are antiquated and there is no way fir my kids to watch without something like this. They are only watching Jewish dvds and they are $25, we buy them and they become scratched the first day. It’s not sustainable .
Does anything excist?

following. It's on my plan to get a regualr tablet, download what I want and then take it to Tag to take out browser and lock playstore.

Yes that’s probably the best option . I will call them (maybe tomorrow. I have corona so not in the mood 😓)
