Afaik dr shanik only takes amerigroup so that doesn’t leave you much choice unless you go on separate plans

Sorry I dint have an adult pcp to recommend. Would love to hear of a good female gp!

Thank you, and can I be on jersey care if I am a dependent on my family plan? (I’m under 26)
Also, do any dentists take jersey care?

Yes but you will need to give both insurances because Jersey care is your secondary insurance. They will need to bill your primary insurance first even if they don’t take that insurance. Your doctor can’t bill Jersey care until your parents insurance denies the claim.

I found Amerigroup to have a great selection of doctors. We had to switch to WellCare because my child needed out of network care and Wellcare approves it easier than Amerigroup. But their network is not as good in my experience.

I believe they both use the same dental insurance, Liberty.
