My 12 year old is very tall and thin. She is in an extra small ladies or size 18 top-22skirts kids

My niece is 12 and 2 heads shorter

My 11 1/2 year old is in a size 12-14. Totally average size compared to all her friends and girls her age.

Imo, there's no such a thing as average for an 11 year old girl, being that some have already started puberty and some have not.

10-18 depending on how tall, what stage of puberty she's at. It's impossible to know 100%
My 11 year old is in middle of a major growth spurt. She was wearing size 12 but is now in 14 and will probably be in size 16 before she turns 12 (at least for length) She also keeps outgrowing shoes. It's exhausting keeping up with it.
The last time she changed sizes so fast she was an infant Very Happy

My daughter is nearly 12 and that’s the range she has gone through over the last year.
She’s just starting to fit some XXS or XS women’s clothes. Still depends on the shape though, she’s not a women’s shape yet.

My 11.5 year old went from size 10 to size 16 just in the past few months.

She's neither slim nor heavy, and heightwise average in her class.

My 12 year old is B"AH a size 12-14 (depending on how it runs, we usually size up for length to cover her knees adequately). She can also fit some XXS (where it exists) from ladies' sizes.

I think I finally have an average sized child. Her big sisters were very petite. When I see this child in school, I see lots of shorter and lots of taller girls than she, so I think she's pretty average.

My 11 year old daughter is very petite and skinny, she wears a size 8 or 10
She is way below average, but I know my older daughter was a size 14 at the same age

I think there really isn't an average, maybe an average range

My skinny tall 9.5 year old is a size 12-14.
My broader tall 11.5 year old is 18

11 is exactly the age that there is no average, more than any other age. Some of the kids are still little, some are having major growth spurts.
