I had a baby last summer. I was hoping to take the additional 6 weeks paid family leave later in the year, but Covid came and I was unemployed until July.
And in July I obviously couldn't take off 6 weeks. So I never got my paid family leave ๐
Anyone know if the 12 month time frame was extended due to Covid?
I called, but am on hold for close to 45 minutes.

You have to be employed for a certain amount of time before qualifying. You may have made the argument that you should have been able to collect even while laid off because you paid into it but seems like itโs too late now.
