Wear just a tshirt/shell

Bend forward, and measure around your bust. Let's say the number was 42 inches

Straighten up. Measure around the ribcage just under your bust. Lets say the number was 34.

Subtract 42-34 =6

Look at the size chart of the company you're interested in to see their letter series.

Ex: FancyDancy Co - A AA B C D E EE F

Count six letters in, based off the difference between your bust and your ribcage.

In this example, your size is 34E.

Thanks for the detailed writeup. The only problem is that 42-34 = 8, not 6. Smile

Ouch, I guess I must be tired!

So if that were the case, count to the 8th option on the letter chart.

But you get the picture Smile

Take off any shirt, bra, etc that you have on. Seriously, you can't measure yourself correctly if you're wearing a shirt because breasts are very moldable and depending on how you lean etc your breasts move differently. If you wear a shirt, then it "contains" that movement to some degree, especially something like a tight fitting shell.

Next, measure around your ribcage right under your breasts. Make sure that your measuring tape is even around your back. If you measure 40, then your band size is 40. If you measure 28, then your band size is 28. Do not subtract or add any numbers. (Ideally you'd measure your underbust loosely, tightly, and snug, see below)

For your actual bust, you'll need to measure across your breasts while standing, leaning, and laying down.

Then plug in all of the numbers into this calculator, and voila:

Good luck! Smile
