Hi, does anyone (maybe someone from Miami), know of any shuls in south beach? preferably near 16th and collins? we were thinking about staying there for shabbos (I can get an amazingly cheap deal on one of the most luxurious hotels, and really want to use it), im sure its not going to be equivalent to anything in bal harbor, or obviously the 40's, but is there ANYTHING??
any help would be greatly appreciated.
and, uh, the sooner the better....

There is another Chabad shul, I think, maybe on Collins. But I was there so long ago, things might have changed.

But it's not such a long walk either way, IIRC. unless there are very small children , it would be long for them.

There is another shul nearby on Meridian or Washington near like 23rd st, much closer to south beach. It's small, but the people there were very nice.

It seems that there is a mikva located on 2530 Pine Tree Dr, and I'm sure if you call that contact she will be familiar with the shul in the area. It's much closer than walking all the way up to 41st st (though it might be a hike if you have young kids). Her name is Rivka Mordokh, (305) 672-3500.

Good luck!

Rabbi Zweigs yeshiva is movnig to the Howard Johnson which might be on Collins. Now, it is currently on Alton and (maybe) 19th - if you need more info, le me know. There are closer shuls to 16th and collins.
let me know and I can get you the info. (My in-laws have an apartment there and go down ALL the time to a shul there)
