Didn't have to bake for this Shabbos.
Darling married daughter, lives in different city, happily surprised us with a visit during the week and kindly brought challos and cake that she'd baked.

Are your children old enough to help you prepare for Shabbos?

Definitely! My 2 year old insists on mixing the cookie dough by herself whilst my 1 year old is happily muching on the cookie dough☺☺

Have a lot of nachas from your kiddies. They sound very cute, ke'h.

Friday night after the seudah: My daughters and I enjoy singing together. It's beautiful b'H, some of us know how to harmonize. Really cozy, ke'h. We can go on for hours.

Do you live in England or Australia? Or used to? I noticed you write "whilst" not "while."
OTOH you also write "cookie" not "biscuit."
