Some women say that after getting the covid vaccine, their period became heavy, or came early, or they began spotting after recently finishing their period, or they got their period after not having it for a while because of nursing.
Has anyone had this?

At first I started writing no, but actually my period did come a little earlier then usual between my first and second vaccine. But it had been a bit early for the last few cycles even before the vaccine so not sure that it’s related.

Yes. I got dose #1 the morning of my vest. I started my period later that afternoon. It lasted for 9 days (usually 5-6) with heavy bleeding for the first 5.

Nope. The only side effect was a sore arm until I took some Tylenol.

I heard people saying that having Covid itself messed up their cycles.

No. It came on time and there was no difference in length or heaviness.

Nope, but my yoetzet said that since the pandemic started she has gotten many more questions about spotting from ppl who never spotted before. An OB she consults with thinks it is stress related.

People are never going to admit their side effects.
There’s major secrecy about it.

On imamother there are no side effects to vaccines unless your antivax.

I’ll be the different one here. I heard that Covid can mess up your periods but BH I never got it.
I got my first dose of Moderna three weeks ago and this week my period came on day 25/26(I saw blood Sunday night which is technically the next day) and it’s never come that early. I usually get it day 28/29 which isn’t such a crazy difference though. It was very heavy in the beginning but acted like a normal period and after a few days is pretty much gone and I didn’t even do a hefsek yet.
However, I did got off BC 2-3 months ago and that can technically change your cycle as well.
