Looking to do some work in my house. Kitchen, bathrooms, basement. Never thought I’d be asking this because I’m frugal and more DIY but I am feeling overwhelmed. What will a designer do and what type of fees/cost am I looking at? Do “ordinary” people use designers or are they more for high end? Thanks, so clueless.

It pays to have a professional guide you through. You don't need it but it will make sure you get it done once and correctly, and quicker with less aggravation.
