HI Smile

Could anyone please tell me about the type of girls who go to these two seminaries?
level of frumkeit, yeshivish or not yeshivish, bais yaakov or not bais yaakov, black hat families or not? jappy? tznuos? which one is more modern?

I'm asking for shidduch purposes, girls have been suggested for my son from these seminaries and it's hard to get a feel for who these girls are, I have no point of reference....
Please tell me about the types of girls who go to these seminaries, thanks so much!

Meor is definitely more modern than Kesser Chaya, not to say there aren’t exceptions to every rule. Neither school is particularly academic.

Me’ohr has a mix of in town and out of town, but it’s usually known more as the in town type. Girls are solid, frum, with it, usually growing girls. Definitely more academic than kesser chaya. Kesser Chaya is also more out of towny and a little more yeshivish

Which seminary isnt on it’s own enough information to give you yes or no. Meohr has a huge range of types of girls, from very yeshivish to modern. It happens to be a great seminary for those who are looking for more hashkafa and less academic. I am not familiar with Kesser Chaya.

While we’re on the topic, what’s the reputation of girls that go to Bnos Avigayil? It’s relatively new so a lot of people haven’t even heard about it.

Academic but not intensely so is what I heard.

But am more interested in the type of girls that attend (not just a frum bais yakov); along with reputation of their graduates afterwards.

Artsy meaning talented and colorful. I have a few friends who went, all very musical and out of the box.

Kesser Chaya is way more yeshivish then Meor. Literally complete opposite places

Kesser Chaya is OOT yeshivish type, simple, down to earth, regular BY girls. Meohr is geared more toward girls who aren’t so yeshivish and have questions, looking to grow, vast majority not looking to be yeshivish. Range of girls, interested in current trendy fashion, nice girls but a very different type from Kesser Chaya.

Are Hotpink and Blond's descriptions still true?
Girls from which Brooklyn schools go to each seminary? Is the majority from tri state area or not?
Does Kesser Chaya push for Kollel lifestyle?

By academic, do you mean it's only for A/A+ girls?

No. But they need to be able to follow what is taught.
