I have done a range of things... small and cheap but the main thing was they were personalized- with the students' names.
Did notepads, interesting highlighters,...
I remember ordering from vivid classroom in Monsey. She has great stuff.
Lost contact info though:(

Any cute little holder that's a gift too & inexpensive.
Like a printed/character/themed/emoji drinking cup or with a straw.
A little wallet/purse
A colorful large slinky could be used as holder
A wipe board/chalk board as base
A pic frame with pic of class as base

For personalized you can just attach label with girl's name. Or something printed on own lets say own paper inserted in clear mug that comes with paper to color.
Or print on your own a wrapper for chocolate or wrapper for soda bottle.
Alphapet stickers, scrabble pieces, alphabet beads can be used to write names.
A soda bottle with a hanging keychain with pic of class.
A negel vasser with sticker names or with marker name.
A krias shma with name.
A paint pallette with colored candy.
A popcorn holder with popcorn, put in some pens, like multi color retractable pen or multi color changing crayon pencil etc.
A gift can be a sheet of stickers or doctor stickers
A canteen drink holder

When going with money, you need to give a decent amount, and it becomes alot.
For Rebbi's you need to give money.
I ordered gorgeous 'wristlets' from Amazon. It's adorable and inexpensive. (9.99-13.99) for teachers, therapists, assistants, tutors...

I am a speech therapist. I make a clown paper bag puppet with my younger students. Then I put nosh/prizes in it and staple it on the bottom and give it back to them for MM. They love it!

Five color flower highlighters with their name in the middle (google it) was a hit... though if you are their teacher beware of obsessive highlighting in class...

When I made shalach manos for my students I focused on the container bc I feel like that made a big difference to the kids. I would go to amazing savings or dollar store and find something cute like those mugs you can color or some cute box and fill it with whatever I find on sale in the store
