I think that lots of stuff that we trust is really unsafe.
I think that people should make their own baby food. I have a cookbook that's almost 100 years old and it has instructions for making baby food so people probably did it in the olden days.

So, food grown in the ground tends to contain toxic metals, and we even need a certain quantity of these metals in order to live. Arsenic deprivation is not a problem likely to come up, but it would have bad effects if it did. The high-levels issue won't necessarily be solved by making homemade baby food instead of buying commercial, because again, you are using ingredients that already contain toxic metals.

It certainly is interesting that baby food is regulated differently from other food. There are a lot of problems with the FDA. Here's another one, I guess. It looks like they started regulating arsenic in rice cereal when there was a big panic about that specific problem, so maybe they will start regulating more things now.

Hmm I just started peeling tons of fruit and veggies and using instapot for baby food.. it takes a couple minutes- but hopefully find some time every week for A new week supply, thinking of freezing a 3 weeks worth
