Hi I work with girls age 3-5 and in the past I found for them a cute small pocketbook for under a dollar that I just put in a drink a candy to fill it, I can’t find them this year and really want to give them something they can play with or use afterwards but not a cup since most of the teachers give that. Any links or ideas please

If you're located in Brooklyn, Variety Corner has a few items.

Didn’t find anything there that girls that age can really use afterwards for under $1 besides the sequin pencil case which I thought was a little not age appropriate. Do you remember what you saw?

Is it very important to you that they are able to use it afterwards?
I posted my idea on a diff thread- I'm a speech therapist and I make clown paper bag puppets with my girls. Then I put a nosh and prize inside and staple it on the bottom. Its not something they can use afterwards but they enjoy making the craft and getting it back.
The craft also targets alot of speech/language goals like following directions, sequencing, verbal descriptions etc

Actually made the clown puppets with them today for Rosh Chodesh so that won’t work for this year but def an idea for the future.
