the best blondies:

1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup oil

Mix together. Then add:
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla

Mix together. then add:
1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt

Then stir in:
1/2 cup chocolate chips

Press into greased 9x13 pan - making sure to cover the entire pan. Bake at 350 for 18-19 minutes - NOT MORE!! They will seem mushy when they first come out but will harden just the right amount and be chewy and yummy!

do you use light or dark brown sugar?

I made these for Shabbos and they didn't turn out well unfortunately... I felt like there wasn't enough mixture for the pan, and they were thin and on the hard side. I made them in a real metal 9x13 so perhaps that's why it didn't work? If I make them again I'll double the recipe Smile
