Thinking of moving to Tom's river. Heard from someone that the water is contaminated there. Is that true?

It used to be in the news. I don't know if anything was resolved or just swept under the rug.

I remember there was an article in the Ami magazine about it a few years back, with someone saying that now it’s cleaner than any water anywhere because of what they did to fix the problem. Or something like that. Maybe contact Ami if they could send you the article?

I don't trust any water. Even theoretically good water can be problematic because of pipes especially if you live in an older multi-family home.
I would use either bottled water or invest in a really effective water purification system.

I live in toms river and it's not so cheap here. The areas that were affected mostly don't have houses built on that land. There are a few streets behind the areas that were affected that frum people are living on.

Why would Frum people move to that neighborhood then ? And it is absolutely cheap . You get a huge house and land for a cheap price . You cant buy a house that size anywhere in the tri state area for the prices that they're selling them . That's why so many people are moving there . Now I'm getting nervous about the water situation.

Have you noticed that being alive also causes death?

I always found it ironic that my friend who moved to Tom's River is anti-vax.

Because most agents wouldn't tell people. My husband is an agent and he would never sell houses on certain streets, but most areas are no problem
