Preferably, NOT grey. Or a color that's been "popular for xxx years..." (it's probably not popular now).

I'm painting a house and need good and calm colors (not grey, did I say that already? LOL )

Here's my top choices:
Benjamin Moore Quiet Moments
Benjamin Moore Peach Parfait

Don't know the color, but we did a brown for hall ways and kitchen, and a light soothing blue for everything else. Our living room is so calming!

Snowbound has grey undertones.
My advice is not to worry about what’s in style.
Styles change quickly.
Whatever you choose will probably not be the latest style in 2-3 years.
And what looks good online or in someone else’s house may not look the same in your house.
Go with what you like.
And test a few colors on your walls and in different lighting before settling.

Inside of house, or outside?
I like a taupe for living/ dining.

For outside I like a dark colors, like navy but that's just my taste.

This. I couldn't agree more. The paint store recommended a color for our home. Said it's the latest color, very popular in the community, looks great everywhere, and everyone is super happy with it. Against my better judgment, we took that color and I HATE it. I don't like the way it looks, it gives off the wrong vibes and I feel like my whole place is ugly. I'd repaint if I could. Choose something you like and makes you feel good when you look at it. You'll be happy with it.

The first paint you mention is grey.

What color furniture and rugs do you have?

We are trying to pick a paint color now and are having it really hard time. I have spent quite a bit on samples but it is so worth it. They do not look the same as they do on the little chip.and in each room they almost look like a completely different color. So it's worth spending a bit on samples so that you really know what you're getting. Some that looked gray wound up if you want brown and the opposite. One was supposed to be gray and even looked sort of pink

I tested Quiet Moments and Beach Glass. Quiet Moments is absolutely beautiful - exactly what I want.
Now, I may consider doing my living room in Peach Parfait and my dining room in Quiet Moments... with a white trim (ahhhhh I love the light, happy colors!!). Beach Glass has much more grey.
Don't like taupe or grey. I want as much light in my house as possible.
