Hi,
I am trying to give over to my students the scary situation Esther was in and the sacrifice she made for Klal Yiroel.
Is there any known fictional letter or written piece depicting this idea?

Let My Nation Live is a great book. It's a rich and dramatized medrash-based narrative of the purim story. I don't have a copy to reference but I'm sure there must be a chapter about Esther approaching Achashveirosh.

By Yosef Deutsch.

I've never come across anything published like you describe (a dramatized letter) but you might want to check out the book, The Queen You Thought You Knew. There's a lot of interesting stuff about Esther there

Maybe see if there's something appropriate in The Gilded Cage?

One of the last chapters in the gilded cage has Esther hurriedly saying shema to her baby in between all his tutors and nannies.. Realizing he will not be raised Jewish...it hit really hard

Rabbi Menachem Nissel had a beautiful article published years ago in the HaModia entitled "Esther and the King", based on his book "Rigshei Lev" on women and tefilah

Why don't you get them to do it as an activity?
